Routine Cleanings & Exams
To help maintain great dental health at every stage of life, it is recommended you see a dentist every six months. During this routine visit, we will examine your mouth, teeth, and gums for any sign of abnormalities or cavities. In addition, we perform oral cancer screenings, and clean and polish your teeth. You can count on our team to provide you with the information and resources you need to maintain good at-home oral health habits. These regular visits play an important role in your long-term oral health and may help prevent dental problems later in life.
Emergency Dental Care
If you or a loved one are experiencing a dental emergency, please call our office at 317-736-7476 to receive emergency care. We will make every effort, especially if you are in pain, to see you as soon as possible. We offer emergency care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Dental extractions are performed to restore your oral health if you have a tooth that is severely damaged or beyond repair. Poorly positioned or overcrowded teeth may also be a reason for extraction. Dr. Mirise and our team will discuss the best replacement options for your tooth, as well as the procedure itself. It is our goal to help you feel comfortable throughout every part of the procedure and process.
Dental fillings help save natural tooth structure, improve strength and stability, and protects against broken teeth. We utilize composite fillings to provide our patients with a more conservative, natural-looking option when compared to silver/amalgam fillings. The composite material is carefully matched to your natural tooth color and structure to create a virtually undetectable restoration.
Bonding involves using tooth-colored resin to fill in cracks, gaps, or chips in your smile. In addition, it can reduce the appearance of discoloration. This is an easy and cost-effective way to improve the aesthetics of your teeth. When properly maintained, bonding can last up to 10 years.
A root canal, also known as endodontic therapy, is necessary when a cavity reaches the pulp of a tooth, causing an infection. It may also be necessary if your tooth has experienced severe trauma. During a root canal, we will clean out the diseased pulp and disinfect the interior of the tooth. We then seal the canals of the tooth, which helps prevent future bacterial infections. Finally, the tooth is restored with a crown or filling.
Gum Disease Treatments & Therapy
We offer a number of treatments to help treat the signs and symptoms of gum disease. Our gum therapies focus on preventing tooth loss, addressing bone loss, and mobile bacteria. During this procedure, we will remove calcified build-up from the surface of the teeth and eliminate germs and bacteria from the root surfaces. This reduces the need for periodontal surgery and removes infected tooth structures.
Our staff and doctor are committed to serving members of our community with the dental services and treatments they deserve. We are always accepting new patients in our care and look forward to welcoming you into our family.
